Week 12 - 2nd April - test 002

Test 002:

Completely changed set up… it was way too orange and took the colours from the set away.

Moved ‘industrial’ light to a different angle and much further away. Light is now pointing towards the far back window in the set instead of directly in front of the set.

Also took off filters and replaced it with a thin royal blue chiffon material.

Added in additional light, which is a low light lamp with a soft orange ambient. Placed this just above the set towards the characters chair.

Testing Camera:

F3.2, 1/40 – too bright on back wall of set

Changed white balance to daylight instead of auto- working much better

F3.2, 1/25 – back wall too bright

F3.2, 1/25 – put orange filter on low light lamp

Still needs to be a bit darker?

F3.2, 1/13 – too light, too much exposure

F3.2, 1/100 – way too dark

F3.2, 1/50 – its still missing something?

Doubled up the blue chiffon material on one side and changed white balance to Tungsten

F3.2, 1/20 ISO 200 > best result so far
