After reading through the
‘The Advanced Art of Stop Motion’ book, it inspired an idea for the background
for the exterior set.
I was originally going to
have a green screen backdrop and replace it with a digital painting of a forest
environment. But after some thought I felt that by using this process it will
take away the hand made look from that particular scene.
So a possible idea is to
have a coloured sheet at background (Sky blue) then 3 layers of cut out trees
and place a light behind the sheet so it shines through imitating the sun!
