Artificial christmas tree for branches of trees
Making Tree process:
Used a scalpel to shape the wood to desired shape, then using a wire brush scratched into the surface to leave a rough texture. Then using sandpaper gently rub off shavings. I used a brown wood paint for the trees trunks, I think a brown wood stain would have been a better look though.

Using a pointed tool, I poked holes into the trunk and cut branches off an artificial christmas tree to create individual branches for the trees. Put PVA glue in to the hole before for extra security. I will have to make at least 6 of these trees to fill the base of the forest. A very tedious process but each will have an individual look, adding to the charm of this animation.
