Week 12 - 3rd April - scene 001 animation tests

Final camera settings:

F3.2, 1/20, ISO 200

Pose test for scene 001

-       4 main poses> worked well

Scene 001:

Test 001:

Went ahead with first test of scene- timing wasn’t very good and animation isn’t smooth

Still unsure about timing in stop motion

Fixed timing a little in After effects.

Beginning is too still, have to hold for 8 frames, and then start to move him back into position.

-       Book is moving too much

-       Try to keep it still> only subtle moves

-       Eyelids move too much too

-       Nice movements with eyebrows and mouth though

-       Slight inconsistency with position of camera… did accidently knock the tripod though! Oops- must be more careful

-       Also considering getting a camera shutter release remote for camera- this will allow me to take pictures without touching the camera, need to see if camera is compatible

Feedback from others:

When he is leaning back into chair, it should start off slower and then fall back faster into chair.

Head movements need more in betweens.
